Our Wedding – The Groom
Home » Our Wedding »Continuing with the re-share of our wedding day to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary in 2019, it’s time to tell you about the man who I wouldn’t be a Mrs. without – the groom – my darling husband Steve!
He wore a traditional, three piece morning suit with tails, a white waistcoat, white cravat and white handkerchief. We hired all of the men’s suits from a local hire shop. I loved how he looked in his suit, he looked so handsome that day. ♥
On the morning of the wedding, he got ready at his parent’s house with his best men and usher. My mother-in-law made them all breakfast, and I’m sure that they had a great morning together!
A last minute decision was the car that my husband and his groomsmen rode to the venue in a white 1960 Cadillac De Ville Convertible from Cool Classic Cars.
We saw the car at one of the last wedding shows we went to, and he thought it would be a great car to travel to the wedding in. It was hired on the spot!
He was chauffeured to the venue, and said that the car drew a lot of attention as it drove along the main road!
I put together an Emergency Kit for my hubs-to-be on the day of the wedding, because I knew he would forget certain things! I also bought him a pair of socks which said “So you don’t get cold feet”. I also bought him some crystal cufflinks to wear. I put everything inside paper bags which I decorated.
