Hi! I’m Michelle, the creative spark behind The Purple Pumpkin Blog.
I launched TPPB in November 2011—when my son was just 12—as a fun digital diary for all the parties we hosted, outings we enjoyed, and holiday moments we loved. Back then, it was about sharing stories—and it was magical.
What’s changed?
A lot of time has passed! My son is now in his mid‑twenties and has flown the nest, and I’m at a whole new season in life.
Meanwhile, blogging shifted from story-driven posts to highly searchable, value-packed content. So I adapted TPPB: today, it’s a go‑to spot for seasonal recipes, crafty projects, and free printables, beautifully organized by holiday—think Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Summer fun, and everything in between!
Always seasonal. Always celebratory.
Though the format has changed, the spirit remains: I’m still here to help you Cook • Create • Celebrate!
Whether it’s a spooky Halloween snack, a fun Christmas craft, a Disney-themed recipe, or a printable coloring pages—I’ve got you covered.
Over the years, my collection of printables grew so much that it inspired a sister shop—Purple Pumpkin Printables—where you’ll find premium seasonal printable packs, party kits, and fun activity bundles for families, teachers, and planners alike.
And more recently, I’ve embarked on a new creative adventure: The Witchy Trinket Cauldron—my cozy online shop filled with crystals, handmade magickal goods, and mystery scoop bundles inspired by whimsy and witchcraft. It’s my way of bringing hands-on, soulful creativity back into my daily life.
A Little About Me…
I’m of Greek Cypriot and Lithuanian heritage—though I can’t speak either language, I do love to cook those cuisines when I can (especially anything with lemon, cinnamon, or halloumi!).
As you may have guessed… I LOVE the color purple, and I have a slight obsession with pumpkins—and that’s exactly how The Purple Pumpkin Blog got its name!
Some of my longtime loves include: Halloween (forever my favorite holiday), Photography, Greek Cypriot food, and Disney—always Disney!
I live in East London, UK, with my husband, Steve, and our cat, Pumpkin (yes, named on-brand!). With our son grown and flown the nest, Steve and I are now embracing our 50s and planning a move out of the city, to the sea and countryside of West Dorset.
As a family, we’ve made magical memories on our annual trips to Orlando and Walt Disney World, where we’re proud Disney Vacation Club Members at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
These days, Steve and I still love a Disney escape when we can—but we’ve also grown fond of the slower pace of cruising too.
Even though we don’t have any trips planned at the moment, my Walt Disney World Vacation Planner and free Disney Mousekeeping Envelopes are still here for your planning needs.
