Our Wedding Attendants’ Gifts

Home » CELEBRATE » Our Wedding Attendants’ Gifts

For our wedding in 2009, we had several attendants to buy gifts for…I had four bridesmaids – my two sisters, my best friend and my cousin. I also had my son as page boy, and my best friend’s daughter as my flower girl. In addition, we had my brother as our usher, and hubby had two best men! We also gave gifts to our parents.

I wrapped all the attendants’ gifts with purple tissue paper, tied with white ribbon, and attached handmade labels. I then put the gifts into bags to make them easier to hand out during the speeches.

The bridesmaids each received a silver trinket box, the best men received silver tankards, the usher a silver hipflask, and our pageboy, a silver yo-yo. We had them all engraved. For our flowergirl, I bought her this plaque from eBay which I thought was really cute. We gave our parents engraved photo frames.

In the UK it is traditional to present the mothers of the bride and groom with flowers, so we asked our florist to make up a display for each of them – they were beautiful!
