Jack Skellington Printables

The Nightmare Before Christmas, is it a Halloween movie? Is it a Christmas movie? For us, it’s both and one of our favorite holiday films!

If you love the gang from Halloween Town as much as we do, then our Jack Skellington printables are a great way to celebrate both holidays!

Introducing (finally!) our buildable Jack Skellington, who isn’t quite as slender as he appears in the classic movie…

If you are a regular on The Purple Pumpkin Blog, you’ll notice that our buildable characters have a cute, chubby style.

However, our printable Jack Skellington is slightly different and has been made taller than our other Free Printable Buildable Paper Halloween Characters.

The Halloween buildable characters are part of a wider set of other characters that are a great activity for kids of all ages. Whether that is at home, at an activity group or club, during homeschool, or in the classroom!

How To Use the Build a Jack Printable

Download the high-quality PDF download at the bottom of this post and print as many copies as you need onto white (printer) paper. You can print the free Halloween printable at home, school, office, or at a Print Shop. Then, cut all the pieces out with scissors.

The Nightmare Before Christmas printables are suitable for children of all ages; however, the regular-size Jack Skellington is suitable for older children who are more skilled at cutting or for those looking to hone their fine motor skills.

The large size should be a lot easier for younger children—or you can cut them out for them—you know your children, so you will know what suits them best.

Once cut, place the pieces in the correct order to figure out where everything goes before sticking them in place with a glue stick or sticky tape.

We like using this roller glue as it is so easy to use and has less sticky mess!

For an extra crafty dimension, why not mount the character onto a larger piece of construction paper and use other craft materials to embellish it?

For example, glitter, craft foam, or tissue paper, to name a few.

You can use a laminator and laminate the pieces if you like and use them over and over again.

Why not use split pins to construct the characters instead of glue to make the character moveable!

Or you could use popsicle sticks and regular-sized characters to make little puppets for Halloween role-playing or storytelling.

You could attach the characters to some ribbon or string and hang them as bunting. They would make great decorations for a Halloween Party.

Or why not number each of the pieces and turn it into a fun game with dice? Throw the dice and each time a number is rolled, you take that piece – the first one to complete their character is the winner!

Most of all, just have fun with this Halloween printable!
