Please drink responsibly. Do not drink and drive.

Viper’s Venom Cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 ounce Vodka
- 2 ounces Cranberry Juice
- ¼ ounce Jalapeño syrup
- 4 ounces Ginger Beer
- ½ Fresh Lime juiced
- Ice
- Fresh Mint
- Maraschino Cherry
Instructions
- Add 4–5 ice cubes to a cocktail shaker. Pour in the vodka, jalapeño syrup, cranberry juice, and freshly squeezed lime juice.
- Secure the lid and shake until well combined and chilled.
- Fill a large cocktail glass with fresh ice. Strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.
- Top with ginger beer and stir gently to combine without losing too much fizz.
- Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and a maraschino cherry. Serve immediately and enjoy your Viper's Venom Cocktail!

Notes
Tips
- Start with ¼ oz (7.5 ml) of jalapeño syrup and adjust to taste. Different brands can vary in sweetness and heat.
- Use chilled ginger beer to keep your cocktail cold and refreshing without watering it down too quickly.
- Always add the ginger beer after shaking the other ingredients to preserve its fizz.
- For a suitably sinister Halloween presentation, serve in a skeleton-hand glass or another spooky cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and maraschino cherry for a striking finishing touch.
Substitutions
- If you can’t find jalapeño syrup, make your own by gently heating equal parts sugar and water with sliced fresh jalapeños. Allow to cool completely, then strain before using.
- For a non-alcoholic version, replace the vodka with a non-alcoholic spirit or additional cranberry juice, and use alcohol-free ginger beer.
- For a sweeter cocktail, use cranberry juice cocktail instead of unsweetened cranberry juice.
Make Ahead and Storage
- Combine the vodka, cranberry juice, jalapeño syrup, and lime juice ahead of time and refrigerate in a covered container until ready to serve.
- When serving, shake the prepared mixture with ice, strain into a glass, and top with chilled ginger beer.
- For the best flavor and fizz, enjoy this cocktail immediately after mixing.
