I try to give American US customary, imperial, and metric measurements in my recipes. Please note, that you can mix cup measurements with weighted measures, but never mix US customary/imperial (pounds, ounces, pints, etc.,) with metric (kilograms, grams, liters, etc.,).

Recipe Tips
- When lining your brownie pan with parchment paper, ensure that you leave some overhang to make lifting the cooked and cooled brownies out of the pan easier.
- Do not over-mix the batter or the brownies will turn out cake-like.
- Brownies taste better the next day, so making them the day before serving will be worth it!
Storing Leftovers & Freezing
- Storing Leftovers: Cool, transfer to an airtight container, and store in the fridge for 4-5 days. They can also be stored at room temperature for 2-3 days.
- Freezing Instructions:
- You can freeze the whole pan of brownies, uncut. Or cut into portions if you prefer.
- Note: Freezing brownies can alter their texture.
- Cool completely and wrap in a double layer of plastic wrap and a layer of foil to help prevent freezer burn and keep out unwanted freezer smells. Place on a flat surface in the freezer. You can also place them in an airtight container.
- Label with the name of the dish, thawing/reheating instructions, and the date to keep track of your food storage.
- Brownies will last in the freezer for up to 4 months.
- To defrost the brownies, unwrap them completely and leave them to thaw at room temperature for 2-4 hours.
- With all leftovers, make sure the food looks and smells okay before consuming.
