Blackberry Brandy Cocktails

First off, we can’t talk about making Blackberry Brandy cocktails without mentioning the star ingredient: Blackberry Brandy.

This type of fruit brandy is a perfect balance of sweet berry flavor.

Coupled with Spiced Rum and Cointreau, it takes you on a whirlwind of flavors.

Oh, and did we mention the medley of fruit juices? Pomegranate, berry, and pineapple juice blend together to make this a truly flavorful drink.

The blend of fruit juices, spiced dark rum, orange liqueur, and blackberry brandy is stirred in a large pitcher with blackberries and strawberries.

For an added touch of sweetness, dip your highball glass into some lime juice and then into some sugar to rim. Don’t forget some fresh fruit garnish!

Virgin Blackberry Mocktail (Non-Alcoholic)

Not a drinker? No problem!

Follow the recipe card using the non-alcoholic alternatives listed below instead of the alcoholic ones.

  • Replace Blackberry Brandy and Spiced Rum with additional mixed berry juice. Add a splash of Blackberry Syrup for additional blackberry flavor.
  • Replace Cointreau with orange juice and/or Orange Syrup.

I recommend adding the syrups to your taste as they may add the sweetness you may not necessarily get from alcoholic liqueurs.

Blackberry Brandy Cocktail Mocktails with Non-Alcoholic Spirits

For adults who would still like to enjoy the taste of alcohol in their mocktail, you could try non-alcoholic alternatives.

In the UK, try Lyre’s, which is also available on Amazon in the UK and Amazon.com.

Other brands include Strykk (UK) and Ritual (US & Canada). Non-alcoholic spirits are a growing trend, so be on the lookout in your local stores and online.

  • Use a fork to break the frozen cocktail into small pieces. Serve and enjoy!
  • Or pour the mixture into ice cube trays and freeze.
  • Use the cocktail cubes to chill and flavor future cocktails without diluting the drink.
