Tzatziki Recipe
With my Greek Cypriot heritage, there are a few dips that I always serve – hummus, taramasalata, tachinosalata, and tzatziki.
Originating from the Mediterranean and Middle East regions, tzatziki is a creamy and refreshing yogurt-based dip that is bursting with flavors.
I’m focusing on the Greek-style tzatziki recipe which combines the smoothness of Greek yogurt with the freshness of cucumbers, a hint of garlic, a splash of lemon juice, and a sprinkle of mint and dill.
The result is a harmonious blend of tanginess and coolness that is perfect for accompanying grilled meats, pita bread, or simply enjoyed as a refreshing dip on its own.
Whether you’re hosting a gathering, serving a meze, or just craving a snack, this homemade tzatziki will surely elevate your culinary experience to new heights.

Equipment Needed For This Recipe
Recipes on The Purple Pumpkin Blog use cups and/or weighted measurements.
