Our luggage eventually turned up, so after quickly unpacking, and while there was still some light and warmth left in the day, we finally got into the pool! However, more detail about Stormalong Bay itself in tomorrow’s trip report.

Until then, here are some photos I took:

Oh, and look out for Hidden Mickeys in the carpet!

Once it started to get a bit chilly, we left the pool and went back to our room to shower and get changed for dinner.

I couldn’t get an ADR for Cape May Cafe, which is the main table service restaurant at Beach Club, so we just grabbed a quick dinner from the Beach Club Marketplace – the counter-service location.

Beach Club Marketplace is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with grab-and-go options, as well as hot meals.

Entrée…

Me: Half Roasted Chicken Dinner – Served with Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Seasonal Vegetables, and Cornbread ($12.99)

Steve: Pork Ribs Dinner – Served with Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Seasonal Vegetables, and Cornbread ($12.99)

Both dinners were so good! Sometimes you just fancy some good old fashioned home cooking and this dinner was exactly that!

According to the receipt we also bought a Chicken Caesar Salad – Chicken, Romaine, Parmesan, and Croutons with Caesar Salad Dressing ($10.49), as well as a bagel, but I have photos of neither.
