Black Bean Dip Recipe
Chips and dip – is there anything more perfect for a casual night with friends and family?
If you’re a fan of Mexican and Tex-Mex flavors, then it’s time to put the ingredients for this black bean dip recipe on your grocery list!
You can be enjoying this tasty dip in no time at all – just 15 minutes from start to finish.
Canned black beans are warmed through with tomato paste, smoked paprika, ground cumin, and oregano, then mashed to a creamy consistency.
Once the mashed beans are transferred to a serving dish, they are topped with sour cream, sweetcorn kernels, chopped tomatoes and onions, and a sprinkling of fresh parsley.
All that is left to do is serve the bean dip with a bowl of tortilla chips and perhaps a pitcher of margaritas too!

Recipes on The Purple Pumpkin Blog use cups and/or weighted measurements. American cups and kitchen food scales are handy pieces of equipment to have in your kitchen as it means you’ll be able to make all of the different recipes on my blog. I try to give American US customary, imperial, and metric measurements in my recipes. Please note, that you can mix cup measurements with weighted measures, but never mix US customary/imperial (pounds, ounces, pints, etc.,) with metric (kilograms, grams, liters, etc.,).
