Peeps Easter Martini
The full ingredients list and instructions are found in the printable recipe card at the end of this post. I highly recommend reading the blog post all the way through so that you don’t miss any tips or substitution suggestions and ensure that you have all the ingredients and equipment required and understand the steps and timings involved.
It’s time to infuse vodka with candy again – this time with Peeps marshmallows!
The marshmallow-infused vodka is the base of this Peeps Easter Martini, which when combined with limoncello and sweet and sour mix creates this sweet yellow drink.
It is also one of those cocktails that are stirred and not shaken and the measurements are in cups as well as ounces, so you don’t even need any special equipment!
As always, we’ve included a mocktail version for kids (using Sprite, as you can infuse that too!) and for adults (using non-alcoholic spirit alternatives).
So throw a few extra packages of Peeps into your cart and make this Easter beverage!
Ingredients For Peeps Easter Martini Cocktail
For your convenience, I’ve linked any specialized ingredients needed for this recipe to Amazon below.
- Yellow Bunny Peeps Marshmallows – for making Peeps Vodka, and used as a garnish.
- Vodka – use your preferred brand (we used Absolut) to make Peeps Vodka
- Limoncello – an Italian lemon liqueur mainly produced in Southern Italy
- Sweet and Sour Mix – a ready-made, non-alcoholic cocktail mix.
- Yellow Sugar Sprinkles – to give the glass a sugar rim.
- Lime Wedge – the lime will help the sugar stick to the rim of the glass.

How Do You Rim a Cocktail Glass?
Adding a salt or sugar rim to a cocktail glass can be for both taste and aesthetic purposes.
We added a sugar crystal rim to our cocktail glasses as a decorative and tasty touch!
- Pour some sugar crystals onto a small plate or saucer.
- You could even try different flavored or colored sugar!
- Cut a wedge of lime and then cut a notch/sit into the flesh – and run it around the rim of the glass to add juice to the inside and outside edges.
- Dip the glass rim into the sugar and give it a twist or two (like you’re cutting cookies from pastry).
- And you’re done!
- You can actually buy cocktail-rimming dishes online (there is a gadget for everything!) but a small plate or saucer will work just fine.
How To Make Peeps Vodka
We’ve infused vodka with various candies before, like in our Skittles Vodka Cocktail and our other Easter cocktail, Easter Jelly Bean Cocktail.
Using exactly the same method, you can infuse vodka with Peeps marshmallows!
We used yellow bunny Peeps, but you could use any color that you like – pink, green, and pale blue would be great for Easter cocktails.
You could even try the flavored Peeps such as Sour Watermelon and Fruit Punch
You won’t need any fancy cocktail equipment to make this marshmallow vodka – just a simple mason jar with a lid.
- Place 4 yellow bunny Peeps into a large mason jar and pour vodka on top. Screw on the lid and leave for 24-48 hours for the flavors and color to infuse. Shake the jar occasionally.
- Strain the jelly bean vodka through a paper coffee filter or cheesecloth to remove the leftover candy and store the liquor in a clean, sterilized jar or bottle.
Use as required in cocktails, or drink the candy vodka straight over ice.
You could also pour a shot into a glass and top it up with Sprite, soda water/club soda, or even Prosecco or Champagne!

Peeps Easter Martini Variations
I like to provide variations of the cocktails shared on The Purple Pumpkin Blog, such as turning the cocktail into an alcohol-free mocktail so that non-drinkers can enjoy the drink too!
Virgin Peeps Easter Mocktail for Kids (Non-Alcoholic)
For kids, you can actually infuse lemon-lime soda, like Sprite with Peeps too!
Decorate a martini glass in the same way as you would a cocktail and serve the brightly colored soda as a Peeps Easter Mockail!
Peeps Easter Martini Mocktail (with Non-Alcoholic Spirits)
For adults who would still like to enjoy the taste of alcohol in their mocktail, you could try non-alcoholic alternatives.
In the UK, try Lyre’s, which is also available on Amazon in the UK and Amazon.com.
There is also Strykk There are other brands, but this one was more widely available.
- Instead of Peeps Vodka, use Strykk Not Vanilla Vodka instead.
- Instead of Limoncello, use Lemon Syrup instead.
Use the non-alcoholic alternatives instead of the alcoholic ones in the recipe card.
Frozen Easter Martini
Want to turn this Easter cocktail into a frozen slushie? Here’s how!
- Put all the ingredients in a blender with a generous amount of ice – then blend till smooth.
- Pour into a glass and garnish with a Peep marshmallow.
- Serve with a straw, and watch out for brain freeze!
- You could do the same with the mocktail version too.
Big Batch Easter Peeps Martinis
Want to make a big batch of this Peeps cocktail for a party or gathering? It’s so easy!
As long as you use the same measuring container (glass, cup, jug, etc.,) for the “1 part”, the ratios will be correct and you can make as much as you need to.
To make a big batch of Easter Martinis, mix together:
- 6 parts Peeps Vodka (make a bigger batch first of course!)
- 4 parts Limoncello
- 6 parts Sweet and Sour Mix
Serve the large batch cocktail in drinks dispensers, or pitchers, or go retro and serve from a punch bowl! Use whichever container you have, or suits the event you are hosting.
Make sure to add plenty of ice to your serving container of choice to keep the cocktail chilled.
Leave a bowl of Bunny Peeps for guests to garnish their drinks. You could also pre-sugar the rims of martini glasses.
When setting up your bar or cocktail serving area, you could include:
- Ice Bucket (filled with ice!)
- Cocktail Glasses
- Easter Napkins
- Cocktail Stirrers
- Easter Cocktail Decorations
This cocktail recipe is intended for adults of the legal drinking age in your country of residence.
Please drink responsibly. Do not drink and drive.

This drink looks so good. It makes me kinda wish that I could have some alcohol. I don’t drink though. Maybe I can try a virgin version.
