Easy Assembly Instructions
These cupcake wrappers are a breeze to assemble, making them a great project for you and the kiddos:
- The PDF document contains one of each design, with two per page.
- Print as many Olympic cupcake wrappers as you need onto good-quality white paper.
- Carefully cut them out using scissors and wrap them around to form the cupcake wrapper.
- Secure the wrapper with tape or roller glue, then place a baked and decorated cupcake inside the wrapper.
- If you want to protect the wrappers, cover them with clear contact paper (sticky back plastic in the UK) before forming them.
- Here is a recipe for the BEST Vanilla Cupcakes, my go-to when making a quick batch of cupcakes at home. Don’t forget the Frosting!
Remember, these are for decoration only—don’t bake with them!
More Creative Ideas for The Olympic Games
Having gone to town with DIY decorations when the Olympics were held in my hometown of London in 2012, here are some of the things I made back then to inspire and get into the Olympic spirit for the Paris 2024 games!
These particular posts are from when I was a very new blogger, so please excuse the layout and photos!
- Giant Tissue Paper Rosettes—I made one for each color of the Olympic rings: blue, black, red, yellow, and green.
- Olympic Rings Wall Paper Fans—Using the same colors as the rosettes.
- Decoupage Cardboard Letters—Mine were for London 2012, but you can make them using red, white, and blue and Parisien motifs to make them for this year’s games.
- Olympic Rings Decoration—This is easy for kids to get involved with!
- Olympic Torch Cake Push-Ups—In 2012, cake push-ups were a thing. A fun snack idea, for sure!
