The Olympic Torch Relay
Home » Photography »So today, my hubby, son and I were up at the crack of dawn to watch the Olympic Torch Relay that goes by not too far from where we live…
…it was an amazing experience, such a great atmosphere and a once in a lifetime experience! Well, almost, as we’re just off into town to watch the relay continue!
And here’s a video of the torch bearer carrying the flame across the lake :)

Later in the day, the torch moved into our town center, so we headed there to continue to watch the relay!

I was the Torchbearer who ran with the Olympic Torch on Sunday in Redbridge and was also very lucky to also get to carry it across Fairlop lake, which I only found out about 2 hours before it happening! I had the most amazing experience and enjoyed every second of the occasion so much! By far one of the most proudest and best moments of my life! When I came across your blog and saw the photos and the video of myself with the torch I was thrilled! It was really good to see such a great turn out and I only hope everyone had a really good time!
