How to Assemble Your Cocktail Flags
- Download the free printable PDF to your device using the purple download buttons at the end of this post.
- Print as many cocktail flags as you need onto white paper. Use regular or glossy paper for an extra shine.
- Carefully cut out the cocktail flags using scissors or a paper trimmer.
- The cocktail flags can be used on cocktail sticks/toothpicks, cocktail stirrers, or even straws.
- Apply glue to the blank side of the flags, fold them around the stick/straw, and carefully line up the edges before pressing them together to seal them in place. Make sure to leave a gap at the top if using it to make straw flags.
- Use them to garnish cocktails and drinks or skewer them into party snacks, sandwiches, or cupcakes.
More Creative Ideas for The Olympic Games
When the Olympics came to our hometown of London in 2012, we embraced the spirit with a flourish of DIY decorations.
Here are some creative projects we crafted back then to spark your inspiration for the Paris 2024 games!
- Giant Tissue Paper Rosettes—I made one for each color of the Olympic rings: blue, black, red, yellow, and green.
- Decoupage Cardboard Letters—Mine were for London 2012, but you can make them using red, white, and blue and Parisien motifs to make them for this year’s games.
- Olympic Rings Decoration—This is easy for kids to get involved with!
- Olympic Rings Wall Paper Fans—Mimicking the Olympic rings.
- Olympic Torch Cake Push-Ups—In 2012, cake push-ups were a thing. A fun snack idea, for sure!
