Disney Sweet Snacks Charcuterie Board

We are huge Disney fans at The Purple Pumpkin Blog, and with over 10 trips to Disney Parks over the years, we have a lot of favorite Disney snacks! We always say that Mickey Mouse-shaped snacks are the best kind of snacks!

We also love setting up Charcuterie Boards—even though these days, pretty much any food shared on a big board is classed as charcuterie and far from the variety of meats and cheese that go on a traditional charcuterie board.

A lot of the treats on our sweet snack board come from Walt Disney World, and you’ll find many of them in Goofy’s Candy Co. in Disney Springs.

If you haven’t visited the Most Magical Place on Earth (that’s Magic Kingdom at WDW!) or the Happiest Place on Earth (that’s Disneyland),  fans of Mickey don’t have to miss out…

You can fill your board with an array of sweets and desserts available to you and add some homemade Disney treats (don’t worry, we have a ton of Disney Recipes) or give it a Disney theme by using a Mickey Mouse head wood board

A wooden board covered with a variety of Mickey Mouse sweet treats - cookies, chocolate-covered pretzels, gummies, coconut patties, and rice krispy treats. Additional generic holiday treats and cookies are also on the board. The board is sat on a festive cloth, with a stack of Disney plates to the side.

The ingredients and tools in this recipe are conveniently linked to online retailers like Amazon or Amazon Fresh.

Step 1 – Gather a Selection of Good Snack Foods

The hardest aspect of creating any good charcuterie board or snack tray is deciding what to put on it—the rest is easy!

The best snacks, though, are your favorite snacks, so feel free to change or add to the suggestions we’ve given you in this “recipe.”

The items listed below are used on the candy board featured in this post. But if you can’t source a particular themed snack, don’t like something, or want to switch to something else—go for it!

Step 2 – Select Serving Utensils!

You don’t need special equipment to set up this fun charcuterie board; you probably already have them:

A wooden board covered with a variety of Mickey Mouse sweet treats - cookies, chocolate-covered pretzels, gummies, coconut patties, and rice krispy treats. Additional generic holiday treats and cookies are also on the board. The board is sat on a festive cloth, with a stack of Disney plates to the side.

Step 3 – Initial Prep!

Place 2 small bowls onto your serving tray at opposite corners—you will build your snacks around these.

If you have a larger dessert board, use more cups; use fewer cups if you have a smaller board.

Fill the bowls with Gummi Disney Characters and Sour Gummi Disney Characters

Step 4 – Place Cookies

Create a line of stacked Holiday Oreos from one bowl to the other and to the board’s edge. This divides the board and creates visual appeal.

Start placing the other large cookies around the board in groups—add them in piles, stacks, or lines – there is no right or wrong way to do this!

TIP! Abundance looks the best when setting up charcuterie boards, so make sure you fill the entire board with delicious treats!

Step 5 – Add Remaining Treats

Fill up any remaining space on your board with pretzels and smaller cookies. Place the large crispy rice Mickeys on the top. Add serving tongs and spoons if you using them.

Serve, enjoy, and have a Magical Christmas!

This cookie and candy board is probably not the best for Christmas morning, but our Magical Mickey Mouse Disney Breakfast Charcuterie Board and Mickey Waffle Charcuterie Board for Christmas Breakfast or Brunch totally are!

If you can’t get Mickey pretzels, Make Holiday Pretzels with white chocolate-covered pretzels drizzled with melted red and green candy melts. Much like in our Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Reindeer Food Recipe

Peppermint Sticks and Candy Canes are a seasonal treat for sure. Why not use Mini Candy Canes to make a heart shape as a festive decoration on your board?

For a healthy option among all the sweet treats, include a selection of your favorite fruits. Use what is available seasonally in your part of the world.

Storing Leftovers

  • Store leftover snacks in airtight containers at room temperature.
  • Chocolate items can be refrigerated to prevent melting.
  • Most snacks will stay fresh for a few days; check the packaging for storage details.
