How To Make Strawberry Orange Kiwi Margaritas

Ingredients For Strawberry Orange Kiwi Margaritas

For convenience, the required ingredients and equipment for this recipe are linked to online stores like Amazon or Amazon Fresh, if available.

  • Tequila – you can use silver or gold tequila in this cocktail
  • Grand Marnier – a French liqueur made with cognac, bitter orange, and sugar.
    • If you don’t have Grand Marnier, you can use Triple Sec or Cointreau instead. They are all orange-flavored liquors and would work in this margarita.
  • Orange Juice
  • Kiwi Syrup
  • Strawberry Syrup
  • Margarita Salt – sea salt or sugar crystals for glass rims.
  • Fruit Garnish – Orange Wedge, Lime Slice, Kiwi Slice, Whole Strawberry

This cocktail is shaken, but don’t worry if you don’t have a cocktail shaker; you could just use a container with a tight-fitting lid – like a mason jar or even the cup on a blender or smoothie maker.

Strawberry Orange Kiwi Margaritas Variations

Here are some variations of the original cocktail recipe that you might like to try out.

  • Tropical Twist: Add a splash of pineapple juice or coconut milk to the margarita mixture for a tropical flavor infusion. Garnish with pineapple wedges and shredded coconut.
  • Spicy Kick: Infuse some heat by muddling a few slices of jalapeño pepper in the cocktail shaker before adding the other ingredients. Strain the mixture for a spicy margarita experience.

Virgin Fruit Margarita Mocktail (Non-Alcoholic)

So that non-drinkers can enjoy a Strawberry Orange Kiwi Margarita, we simply remove the alcohol and replace it!

  • Omit the Tequila and Grand Marnier from the recipe.
  • Increase the amounts of orange juice, kiwi syrup, and strawberry syrup to compensate for the missing alcoholic components.
  • I recommend adding the syrups to your taste as they may add the sweetness you may not necessarily get from alcoholic liqueurs.

Fruity Margarita Mocktails (Non-Alcoholic Spirits)

For adults who would still like to enjoy the taste of alcohol in their mocktail, you could try non-alcoholic alternatives.

In the UK, try Lyre’s, which is also available on Amazon in the UK and Amazon.com.

Other brands include Strykk (UK) and Ritual (US & Canada). Non-alcoholic spirits are a growing trend, so be on the lookout in your local stores and online.

Follow the recipe card using the non-alcoholic alternatives listed above instead of the alcoholic ones.

Frozen Strawberry Orange Kiwi Margaritas

Want to turn this fruity margarita into a frozen slushie? Here’s how!

Put all the ingredients in a blender with a generous amount of ice – then blend till smooth.

Serve with a straw, and watch out for brain freeze!

You can do the same with the mocktail version too.

Big Batch of Strawberry Orange Kiwi Margaritas

Want to make a big batch of these fruit-filled margaritas cocktails for a party or gathering? It’s easy – here’s how!

As long as you use the same measuring container (glass, cup, jug, etc.) for the “1 part”, the ratios will be correct, and you can make as much as you need to.

To make these margaritas for a crowd, mix together:

  • 4 parts Tequila
  • 2 parts Grand Mariner
  • 4 parts Orange Juice
  • 1 part Kiwi Syrup
  • 1 part Strawberry Syrup

Serve the large batch cocktail in drinks dispensers or pitchers, or go retro and serve from a punch bowl!

Make sure to add plenty of ice to your serving container of choice to keep the cocktail chilled. Add some chopped strawberries, oranges, and kiwi in there too.

Saving Leftovers!

While it’s best to enjoy the cocktail fresh to savor its flavors, you may end up with some left at the end of your party—don’t let it go to waste!

  • Transfer it to an airtight pitcher or container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days. Note that the freshness and vibrancy of the flavors may diminish over time.
  • Or, to make it last longer, turn it into Margarita Granita!
  • Granita is a semi-frozen dessert made from sugar, water, and various flavorings. Originally from Sicily.
  • Transfer the cocktail to a shallow freezer-safe container and place it in the freezer for 6 hours (or overnight). Add additional sugar syrup or sweetener if desired.
  • Use a fork to break the frozen cocktail into small pieces. Serve and enjoy!
