Thanksgiving Olaf – Pilgrim Edition

It’s been a while since I have created an Olaf printable and after several requests for a Thanksgiving Olaf, it is only fair that I should oblige!

There will be two more Olaf printables for Thanksgiving – a Native American, and a Turkey – so make sure you a member of The Pumpkin Patch:

If you have not downloaded any of my printable Olaf before, let me give you the lowdown.

The basic Olaf printable comes with head, body, arms, feet, carrot nose, 5 sets of eyes, eyebrows, hair, and buttons.

I don’t always include all sets of eyes in the regular size (one page) version because they sometimes don’t fit on the same page with other accessories. You can always download the basic Olaf here: A4 paper size / US paper size

Downloads are further down the page and surrounded by a purple box.

As with pretty much all my printables I’ve provided two paper sizes – A4 and US Letter (8.5″ x 11″) – use which size is appropriate for your printer.

Regular Size Olaf Template

Regular Size Template

The regular size template (pictured above) creates a small Olaf, and all the pieces are on one sheet of paper. This size can have some tricky pieces for little kids to cut out, so you may have to do it for them.

For regular size Pilgrim Olaf the pieces are: head, arms, carrot nose, 1 set of eyes, eyebrows, and buttons. The body pieces are black to resemble a Pilgrim’s suit, along with a belt and a white collar. Buckle shoes and a pilgrim’s hat finish the outfit. I left the hair on the template even though it’s not really needed!

The large size template will give you a much bigger Olaf – about 45cm/18″ tall! The pieces are spread over several sheets of paper.

Apart from maybe the hair and the arms, all the pieces should be simple enough for kids to cut out on their own. But of course, help where necessary.

In the large Thanksgiving Olaf template, you will get all the pieces to build a Pilgrim Olaf, as well as to build just a regular Olaf without a costume.

How To Build An Olaf!

Simply print onto thick white paper or thin white card, cut the pieces out (young children may need help) and build a snowman!

You can stick the pieces together if you wish using glue or tape. Or you could use a laminator and laminate the pieces and use them over and over again.

Over the years, readers have shared their Olafs with me and used craft supplies like glitter and cotton wool for snow then mounted them onto large pieces of construction paper.

If you build an Olaf from one of my printables, please take a picture and share it on social media using the hashtag #TPPBOlaf I would love to see them!
