• Dairy & Chilled: Whole Milk, Cool Whip, Whipped Cream
  • If you can’t get Cool Whip where you live, use some whipping cream whipped to stiff peaks and fold it into the pudding mixture. In the UK, Dream Topping is an option, but not quite as stable.
  • What is whipped cream? It’s literally just whipping (or heavy or double) cream whisked with some sugar and vanilla. You can also use an aerosol cream for decorating as a quick option.
• Jell-O Coconut Cream Instant Pudding—not an ingredient used in the UK, but you can find it online or in American Candy Shops. You could also use instant vanilla pudding mix instead and flavor it with a drop of coconut extract.
• Dark Rum
• White Rum
• Pineapple Rum—such as Bacardi or Malibu Rum with Pineapple
• Maraschino Cherries—the perfect garnish!
• Toasted Shredded Coconut—to toast, spread shredded coconut in a dry frying pan and toast over medium heat, stirring often, until golden brown—about 3–5 minutes.
