If you are one of the many people who following the Slimming World plan, you will know that one of the crucial things to your success is keeping a Slimming World Food Diary. Tracking what you eat at each meal, along with your Healthy Extras, and Syns means you can monitor when things go well – and when they don’t, and can figure out how to improve next time.
I’ve got a Slimming World Ford Diary Printable that you can download and print at home – as many times as you need to. I have also got a Slimming World Meal Planner printable
Slimming World Food Diary Printable
Of all the various diets and healthy eating plans out there, (and believe me, I’ve done them all!) I would say that Slimming World is one of the easiest to follow, and to maintain, whether you are cooking for just you, you and a partner, the whole family, while working, dining out, entertaining. It is a very versatile plan and the only thing you count are the Syns. (I wish they were called something else, as psychologically it doesn’t do good to see a food as sinful, but I digress).
I am not officially on any diet plan at the moment – I am eating what I consider to be normal after many years of yo-yo dieting. I have a breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a couple of healthy snacks in between. In my head I still kinda follow Slimming World, and count calories too – but again that is years of yo-yoing and my own stuff to deal with!
I know that success, when trying to lose weight, is higher when I track things – meals, snacks, water, exercise – and it’s even better when I meal plan. To that end I’ve given this printable a little bit of an update since its launch in 2014, so it’s not just the Slimming World Food Diary that you will be able to download, but also a second, completely different Food Diary, as well as a Slimming World Meal Planner template!

Slimming World Food Diary #1
The first printable food diary for Slimming World is broken down into Free Foods, which should be 2/3 of your plate, and Superfree Foods, which should be 1/3 of your plate. Additionally there is the space to record your Syns and your Healthy Extras. This diary is particularly good if you eat on-the-go, or don’t plan your meals, preferring to eat what and when you fancy.
Slimming World Diary
This printable diary is broken down into breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, water, and exercise. It covers all you need on your diet or healthy living journey. You could use it in tandem with the food diary above; or if you know the plan well jot down what you had at each meal. For things like Healthy Extras and Syns, you can pop them into the meal you had them.
Slimming World Meal Planner
This is the free printable Slimming World meal planner. The idea behind this is that you plan all of your meals, snacks and healthy extras in advance so that you can devise a shopping list from it. Again, you can use it in tandem with either of the other two food diaries.
All three printables are bundled together in one document which you will find the link for below. I’ve also add two of the most popular Slimming World recipes on The Purple Pumpkin Blog for you to try.
