Ingredients for Reindeer Brownies
The ingredients and tools for this recipe are conveniently linked to online retailers, including Amazon, Amazon Fresh, Instacart, and Walmart. The quantities are in the recipe card.

- Brownies—homemade, boxed mix, or store-bought—all work well.
- Chocolate Frosting—either ready-made from a can or homemade.
- Mini Pretzel Twists—broken in half to create the reindeer antlers.
- Candy Eyeballs—used to give each brownie its reindeer face.
- Red M&Ms—perfect for creating a Rudolph-style nose.
The complete ingredient list, along with their measurements, is provided on the recipe card. The Purple Pumpkin Blog uses both cups and weighted measurements in its recipes, making American cups and kitchen food scales valuable tools for trying all the recipes. We provide measurements in US customary, imperial, and metric units. Still, it’s essential to note that while you can combine cup measurements with weighted measures, never mix US customary/imperial units (pounds, ounces, pints, etc.) with metric units (kilograms, grams, liters, etc.).

Reindeer Brownies
Ingredients
- 12 Brownie squares
- 16 ounces chocolate frosting
- 12 mini pretzel twists
- 24 candy eyes
- 12 red M&Ms
Instructions
- If you baked your brownies, cool and cut into squares.

- Place the brownie squares on a cookie tray lined with parchment paper.
- Spread chocolate frosting evenly over the top of each brownie.

- Break the pretzels in half and press one half into each top corner of the brownie to create antlers.

- Place two candy eyes near the center of each brownie.

- Add a red M&M below the eyes to create the reindeer’s nose.

- Serve, enjoy, and Happy Holidays!

Notes
Tips
- Make sure brownies are fully cooled before frosting to prevent melting.
- Feeding more people? Cut smaller squares! Just make sure there is enough room for the decorations!
Substitutions
- Mini chocolate chips can be used instead of candy eyes.
- Or use a tube of white and black ready-made icing to pipe on eyes.
- Any red candy can be used in place of red M&Ms.
- Again, you could use a blob of icing (red, of course) for a nose!
Leftovers & Freezing
- Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- Refrigerate for up to 5 days if preferred.
- Freezing is not recommended as the decorations can become soft or discolored after thawing.
