Notes

Tips

  • Make sure brownies are fully cooled before frosting to prevent melting.
  • Feeding more people? Cut smaller squares! Just make sure there is enough room for the decorations!

Substitutions

  • Mini chocolate chips can be used instead of candy eyes.
  • Or use a tube of white and black ready-made icing to pipe on eyes.
  • Any red candy can be used in place of red M&Ms.
  • Again, you could use a blob of icing (red, of course) for a nose!

Leftovers & Freezing

  • Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
  • Refrigerate for up to 5 days if preferred.
  • Freezing is not recommended as the decorations can become soft or discolored after thawing.
