8 Easy To Make Halloween Treats
Home » HOLIDAYS & EVENTS » HALLOWEEN »Welcome to Day 17 of Crafty October 2014 (check out 2013 and 2012 here) – a month of Halloween Ideas here on The Purple Pumpkin Blog!
Don’t be a slave to the kitchen when making treats for a Halloween party! Here are some of my easy to make Halloween treats that take no time at all – and best of all, no baking involved! So easy that even the kids can have a go!
Lollipop Ghosts
Wrap lollipops with tissue, tie off with a ribbon and draw a ghostly face
Twinkie Mummies
Dip Twinkies (or iced buns) into melted white chocolate, drizzle with more chocolate to create bandages and finish off with some edible sugar eyes.
Blood & Bone Oreo Truffles
Crush up some Oreo cookies and mix with a little softened cream cheese. Form into truffles, dip into melted red candy melts and sprinkle with sugar bones.
Halloween Oreo Cookie Pops
Dip Oreo cookies into white chocolate and cover with Halloween sprinkles.
Gingerbread Fiends
Buy some ready-made gingerbread men and decorate with icing and sprinkles.
Halloween Sprinkle Choc Dippers
Dip bread sticks into melted chocolate and cover with Halloween sprinkles.
Marshmallow Ghost Pops
Draw faces onto large white marshmallows with an edible food colouring pen.
Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats
Mix rice krispies with melted marshmallows, pumpkin spice and chopped candy corn, leave to set in the fridge and cut into squares.
As well as sharing my ideas each day for my favourite time of the year, I’m also holding a #CraftyOctober Link Party for bloggers to share their Halloween posts. If you’re a blogger, then do check out the party – I can’t wait to see your posts!
