Halloween Oreo Cookie Pops
Home » COOK » Recipes » Holiday Recipes » Halloween Recipes »Sweet things on sticks are always awesome, and these Halloween Oreo Cookie Pops are an awesome sweet treat for the spooky festivities!

Again, no progress pics, but easy enough to do – take an Oreo cookie (or similar sandwiched cookie) and carefully insert a flat lolly stick – you may have to squeeze (gently) to hold in place.
Melt chocolate (or candy melts) and using a spoon, spoon over a layer, covering part of the lolly stick so that it holds it all together. Leave to set in the fridge.
Add a second layer of melted chocolate (or melts) and then add your sprinkles. Again, leave to set.
I wrapped my Oreo cookie pops in cellophane with some ribbon tied around. Such a simple food idea, but one you could theme up for any occasion, just by using different sprinkles!
I placed the Oreo Cookie Pops and the Twinkie Mummies into some styrofoam (which I painted black) so that I could display them.

I used to buy chocolate covered Oreos in the states – this is clearly a better way to eat them! Love it :)

Hope they turn out well! It’s also worth adding a bit of melted chocolate to the stick before you insert it – helps it ‘glue’ together more firmly xx
