So far this week I’ve Work Schedule To Do List Printables, Shopping List Printables and a Weekly Meal Planner Printable. Today is the turn of a Weekly Food Diary.

I made this printable as it’s something I really make use of. Since one of my new years resolutions is to lose weight, one great way of keeping myself motivated is to keep a food diary. It allows me to really keep track of my intake each day, and I can actually stop myself from cheating by writing everything down – it is easy to forget if you grabbed that snack you shouldn’t have at 11am, when you go to have your dinner at 6pm!

I keep a count on calories, and each day, for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks I’ve provided a little box for you to write down the calories for that meal, as well as the space for you to write down what you have eaten.

Another important factor is drinking water. Now, it is said that we should be drinking 8 glasses of water per day. After having a look about on the net, I get conflicting advice; however, I’ve added 8 glasses in the water section for you to cross out, check off, or colour in to keep tabs on your water intake per day.

The final section is for exercise. Guidelines tell us, for good health, we should be taking part in moderate activity 5 times a week. I try and exercise every day. I personally do Zumba (on the Wii) and it tells me how many minutes and calories I’ve burned per day. So this is what I write down in the exercise boxes. Of course, you make use of it any way you like!

I’ve made them in three different sizes too, to suit your needs. I’ll be printing mine off in A4 size, which is the standard size of folders here in the UK. But I’ve also done them in A5 (half A4) and also the US standard (or what I seem to understand) of 8.5″ x 11″. I did debate about re-sizing to A5 as that makes the master list quite small, but some of you might have tiny writing!

Here are the downloads (PDF) …if you use them I would love to hear that you did!
