Summer Tracing Lines Activity Sheets

Before learning how to write letters and numbers, you need to know how to write lines and curves that form the basis of all writing.

So as your kiddos learn how to write, make it fun with line tracing activity sheets! It is a great way for you and your little ones to spend time together while learning.

The goal of the activity is simple – trace the lines from left to right, from one summer-themed picture to the another.

There are all sorts of lines to trace – wavy, straight, zig-zag, diagonal, and circular. Some will be more tricky than others for little hands, but it is an awesome way for children to improve their fine motor skills.

With summer kids on the left side of the page and popsicles/ice lollies on the right side of the page, think of the activity as connecting the kids with their frozen treat!
