Nothing much of the Performing Arts though as I don’t think we saw much – and if we did we just watched. The times are quite specific for the performances so be sure to check out the festival guide for info.

Plus, get involved and be part of the creative process! At some of the Festival Markets, you will have the opportunity to choose custom elements of your new piece of art and watch it come to life before your very eyes.

One of the very first things we saw was this awesome piece of chalk art on the ground of The Incredibles (and Frozone).
There were lots of booths set up with artists both selling and demonstrating their work.
A lot of the art was Disney-themed (of course) but some wasn’t. Most stuff was out of our personal price range, and I kinda wish that there had been smaller postcard-size or maybe A4 size prints available as I would have snapped up a lot more!
I did have a Disney giftcard that I used to treat myself to a piece of art – I’ll indicate later which one I bought!
I adore Freddie Mercury and Queen – oh how I wish I could have purchased the artwork above!
I also LOVED the piece below with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy & Pluto walking in World Showcase – but the last (smaller) sized print was snapped up moments before – gutted!

There was all kinds of art – Steve particularly liked these glass sculptures – the octopus one is so cool!
The print I purchased was the long Enchanted Tiki Room one.
I didn’t buy the full size – mine was around 90cm tall – and it cost $55 originally but I used our DVC discount to get 20% off so in the end, with tax it cost $46.86.
I absolutely love the Tiki Room, it’s one of my favourite attractions at Magic Kingdom, and I love tiki culture so I had to have it for our house!
Looking through our receipts I found one for a Scavenger Hunt Map – but I don’t for the life of me remember what we were searching for or what the final prize was either… when I figure it out I’ll fill you in!
