Mexico Pavilion

Into Mexico now to get a spot to watch Mariachi Cobre Present the Story of ‘Coco’.

The story and music of Disney•Pixar’s movie Coco are brought to life by the immensely talented musicians of Mariachi Cobre.

A pair of Folklórico dancers join the musicians to tell the tale of Miguel Rivera, his love of music, and his journey to find what matters most – his familia. The dancers perform to the music of the film, and Miguel himself appears in the form of a whimsical, hand-crafted puppet!

Coco has quickly become one of my favorite movies and the music is just amazing, so I wanted to be able to watch it as comfortably as possible. The Mexico Pavilion can be a bit of a bottleneck at the best of times, but with this show going on, and people crowding around to stop and watch, it was a bit of a nightmare. But we got “to the front” and I was happy!

I believe that Mariachi Cobre Present the Story of ‘Coco’ is no longer at Epcot, due to the pandemic I’m sure, and I’m not sure if it will ever return… but I hope it does!

I can only but share some of the photos I took, and when I get around to it, my videos (but there are plenty online for you to watch!)
