Did you know you can catch a Friendship Boat from the resorts around Crescent Lake to Hollywood Studios? Further, did you know that you can walk to that theme park from this area too?
Well, you absolutely can, and staying at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas meant that we could take the walk and not have to worry about driving or taking other Disney transport to the park.
So, at around 6pm we followed the sign to the walkway to Hollywood Studios!
The walk follows the path of the river (well, the waterway that comes from Crescent Lake for the Friendship Boats), and we seemed to be the only people walking to the park, which made it really peaceful too.
It takes around 20-25 minutes to walk from Disney’s BoardWalk to Hollywood Studios, and with the sun going down it was a really lovely stroll.
When we reached the park entrance, we saw the (still waiting to open) Disney Skyliner running trials, which was very cool to see at the time. Hopefully, we’ll get a chance to ride it on our next trip!

Naturally, we took a look in the stores to see what merchandise was available, and Disney Snack seemed to be a big theme!
We then popped over into Toy Story Land to see what it looked like at night – and it was AWESOME!
