Materials & Tools Used in This Craft
The materials and tools needed for this project have been linked to Amazon below for your convenience. The quantities are on the craft tutorial card at the end of this post.
Lightweight Spackle – In the UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and Canada, the brand “Polyfilla”, a multi-purpose filler, is a generic term for spackling paste. Make sure to use a lightweight spackle as anything heavier will sink and not hold the “whipped cream” on top.
Pastry Bag with Star Tip – ensure you use bags and tips for crafting purposes only and not the ones you use to make cakes.
2 mini plastic dessert cups – you can use any shape/size you like, just adjust the size of the foam craft ball and cardboard that goes inside.
Foam Craft Balls – to fit inside the cups, approx 1.4″.
Brown Acrylic Paint – we used Brown Oxide from the Apple Barrel brand.
Nonpareil Sprinkles – use any color or type of sprinkles you like.
Natural Jute Twine – to hang the cup on your tree, or you could use a matching ribbon.
