Following my Sunday Inspiration post about a Nintendo themed party, I am here to report that the Nintendo birthday party I held for my son's birthday was a roaring success! I had so much fun putting everything together, and every one enjoyed themselves - especially my (not so little any more) boy, who loved it so much, he's said can I do the same again next year!
As usual I bought some, I made some...
For decorations I made Yoshi Eggs, Starman Hangers, Nintendo Character Banners, Boo Balloons, Food Labels and Mario Mustaches. I was lucky to find some Mario themed party goods in a local supermarket at the last minute!
For the party food I made...
- Starman Cupcakes
- Mini Starman Cakes
- Super Mushroom and 1-Up Mushroom Marshmallow Pops
- Lon Lon Ranch Milk Bottles
- Diddy Kong Peanut Shooter Dip
- Sugar Cookies
- Piranha Plant and Super Mushroom Salad
- Barbeque Cucco Wings
- Kirby Korn Dogs
- Delfino Nachos
- 1-Up Dip
...and I bought some pizza, dough balls, salads and doughnuts.
Of course, for games, we played on the Nintendo and had a Mario Kart Tournament!
