Chocolate Truffles

To make these truffles, you’ll need a quantity of the chocolate fondue that I made for my Valentine’s Day dessert and that melted chocolatey goodness turns from this…
…to this, when you put it into the fridge to set.
These truffles were just plain chocolate, but you could add flavourings, like a bit of rum, or some coffee, or some orange zest…
I dipped my truffles into three different coatings – icing sugar…
Cocoa powder…
And chocolate sprinkles…
With a teaspoon, scoop out a chunk of chocolate mixture and shape into a ball in the palms of your hands.
Place onto your desired coating and roll around until covered…easy!
Arrange on a serving plate and serve at once – or bung back in the fridge to re-firm. As there is fresh cream in these, they won’t last for long…but then, these didn’t last long any way once my husband got his chops round them!!
