For that reason, for milestone birthdays like a 40th, a tuck shop (or candy buffet or sweetie bar – whatever you want to call it!) is a fab idea!
We had a candy buffet at our wedding reception and it was a big hit, so I was excited to created another one for the Orange & Yellow 40th Birthday Party I planned for my friend.

With lots of retro sweeties filling glass jars, the tuck shop at this birthday party was a hit! There was hardly a thing left when we went back later in the evening to tidy everything away – always the best sign that it was a well enjoyed feature of a party!!
