Mardi Gras Rum Punch

So, to serve along with our Cajun Crab & Prawn Beignets, Cheats Jambalaya and Cayenne Buttered Corn on the Cob, I made a big jug of Mardi Gras Rum Punch…*hic* …went down rather nicely! Make as much as you need ;)


Mardi Gras Rum Punch
Ingredients
- 4 parts pineapple juice
- 4 parts orange juice
- 1 part maraschino cherry juice/syrup
- 2 parts dark rum
- orange slices
- maraschino cherries
- crushed ice
Instructions
- In a large jug, stir together the rum, pineapple and orange juice and the cherry syrup/juice (use it up from the jar of cherries, or you can buy maraschino syrup.)
- Add lots of crushed ice
- Add orange slices and cherries
- Serve poured over ice
- To make this a virgin, leave out the rum!
