Kickstart Carrot Juice – Detox
Home » COOK » Recipes » Beverages »We bought a juicer at the weekend. I’ve read and heard that juicing is an excellent thing for the body – the greener the better…I think I may have to work my way up to that, but for this morning I juiced up this Kickstart Carrot Juice and it was really nice!
Really simple – just put the following fruits and veggies through a juicing machine:
- 3 carrots
- 2 sticks celery
- 2 apples
Give the juice a stir and drink immediately!
It almost pains me to say that it was nice, since I dislike celery with a passion!!! I mean REALLY dislike the stuff – I was almost gagging when I had to take the celery out of the packet! But, once juiced with the sweet apples and carrots, it was palatable, I won’t go nuts and put celery in my salads or anything (I still can’t stand the stuff!) but it’s a good diuretic helping to get rid of water retention, so it had to go in.
