Religious Easter Bingo Printable
Spring is here, Easter is on the way, and while kids are dreaming of chocolate Easter eggs and candy, there is a reason for the season—the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Our free printable religious Easter bingo is a fun way for everyone, from young children to seniors, to learn about the Christian festival.
Starting with Ash Wednesday and the 40 days of Lent, it continues through Holy Week, which begins with Palm Sunday and includes the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.
Unlike the classic game with numbers, our unique Easter bingo cards feature pictures including religious iconography, such as Jesus riding a donkey, Jesus carrying the cross, Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane, Judas Iscariot, and Mary Magdalene.
As well as other symbols like the Paschal candle, lamb, Eucharist, palm leaves, and a church. We’ve also included a few secular items associated with Easter, like eggs and flowers.
We have created over 200+ Free Printables for you to download, including 40+ Free Easter Printables!
For more bingo fun, we have this Free Printable Easter Bingo Game (with 25 slots on the bingo card), and these Free Printable Easter Bingo Cards have 9 slots (like the religious ones in this post).
And don’t forget to check out our Easter Printables in the Purple Pumpkin Printables Shop.

This is a great way to share Easter joy from afar. Or, to save printer ink, play on your phone or tablet and use the edit function to mark off the cards.
How To Set Up The Bingo Game
- Download the free printable file to your device (downloads are further down the page, surrounded by a purple box).
- Print the size of the bingo boards you require. If printing the half-page cards, cut them in half so each player has one each.
- Print and cut the bingo call sheet along the lines, fold them in half and in half again, and place them into a bowl.
- Print and cut the bingo tokens if you are using them—each player needs 9.
- Alternatively, if you don’t want to print out the tokens, you can use dot markers or bingo markers (also called bingo daubers) to mark off each image as it is called.
Tips for Best Results
- For the best experience, print the entire bingo set on white card stock or regular paper.
- Laminating the boards is a great way to make them durable and compatible with dry-erase markers, so you can use them year after year.
- If you laminate the calling cards, shuffle them, and draw them like playing cards.
How to Play Picture Bingo:
If you don’t know how to play bingo, here is a quick rundown.
- Assign someone to be the bingo caller.
- Each player is given a bingo card and a set of tokens.
- Unlike our other printable bingo games, there isn’t a FREE SPACE, but each card has a unique layout.
- Decide the winning straight line(s): a horizontal line, a vertical line, two lines, or a diagonal line. Other winning combos are four corners or filling the board entirely for a Full House.
- The bingo caller pulls out one of the calling cards and calls it out to the players.
- You can hold up the cards to show players the image they need to mark on their cards.
- We have included large cards that are ideal for classroom use, or in a retirement community setting.
- The players then cover that picture on their bingo cards.
- The winner is the first person to complete the winning line(s) and shouts BINGO!
Creative Ideas for Play
- Easter baskets filled with goodies make great prizes for the winners.
- Use the game as an educational activity to discuss the significance of each symbol on the bingo cards.
- Other fun ideas for marking the printable cards are using festive items like jelly beans or mini Easter eggs instead of regluar bingo chips.
How To Play Over Zoom or House Party
- We’ve made digital versions of our printable bingo cards, so you can play online with friends and family via services like Zoom or House Party.
- Send each player a different digital bingo card that they can save to their phone or tablet and use to play this fun Easter game!
- Play the game as usual, calling out the Easter religious Christian bingo images and players marking off their digital cards with the edit/markup feature available on most phones and tablets.
- Alternatively, they can print out their own bingo cards and play traditionally.
- Download the Single Cards in the download box below. Please note that the cards are graphic files that can be resized and printed to fit your paper size.
- We have made each card available as a single sheet, so all players can receive a different card. These single files are zipped up in a ZIP file, which you can unzip using Winzip – usually found on most computers or using WinRAR, which is the program we use.
