Free Printable Paralympics Bunting
As the world prepares for the Paralympic Games in Paris, there’s no better way to show your support than with colorful bunting flags.
Whether you’re hosting a watch party or want to get into the spirit, our free printable bunting flags are an easy and fun way to celebrate this inclusive sporting event!

About The Paralympics
On July 29, 1948, during the Opening Ceremony of the London Olympics, Dr. Guttmann launched the Stoke Mandeville Games for wheelchair athletes, marking the start of what would become the Paralympic Games.
The first official Paralympics, with 400 athletes, took place in Rome in 1960. Following an agreement between the IPC and the IOC, they have occurred every four years alongside the Olympics, starting with the Seoul 1988 Summer Games and the Albertville 1992 Winter Games.
The Paralympics Torch Relay will begin with the lighting of the Paralympic flame in Stoke Mandeville, England. Unlike the Olympic flame, several Paralympic flames can shine alongside one another, reflecting the unique features of the Paralympic movement.
The flame will be split into 12 separate flames, which will journey around France and light the cauldron on 28 August 2024. This will be followed by 11 days of competition.

How To Use The Paralympics Bunting Flags
- Download the free printable file to your device.
- Print as many Paralympic banner flags as you need using a printer on good-quality white paper.
- Cut out the flags carefully using scissors or a paper trimmer.
- Cut a piece of string or ribbon to the desired length (leaving extra at the ends to tie the bunting up).
- Using a single-hole punch, punch holes in each flag’s top right and left corners and thread the holes through onto the string.
- You can laminate your flags if you like so that they last a bit longer—especially if hanging outside.
- Cut the flags first, lay them between laminating sheets, and run them through your laminator.
- Carefully cut around each flag again, leaving a small outline gap so the laminate stays together.
- Alternatively, cover them with clear contact paper (sticky back plastic in the UK) for durability.
- Punch holes in the top corners as above, string them up, and hang the bunting where desired.
