The unique cards, filled with pictures instead of numbers like in traditional bingo, set the festive mood and make the game accessible and enjoyable for kids of all ages and adults alike.
In addition to the free printable game, you can download the digital cards to play virtual bingo with friends and family via Zoom (or similar).
You can even play on digital devices like smartphones and tablets to save on printing. To mark the digital files, use the edit markup tool available on most devices—instant digital bingo markers!

- This fun New Year’s bingo game is for 2 to 12 players and features 12 unique bingo cards.
The full and half-page printable New Year bingo cards (and bingo tokens) are the same layouts, just different sizes. Simply print off the game boards you want to use.
The full page might be more suitable for younger children or senior players.
How To Set Up The Bingo Game
- Download the free printable file to your device.
- Print the Bingo Card in the size you require. If printing the half-page cards, cut them so each player has one.
- Print and cut the Bingo Calling Cards along the lines, fold them in half, then in half again, and place them in a bowl.
- Print and cut the Tokens—each player needs 25.
- Alternatively, if you don’t want to print out the Tokens, you can use dot markers or bingo markers (called daubers) to mark off each image as it is called.
- You could also use Bingo Chips or small candies to cover the festive bingo cards.
Tips for Best Results
- For the best experience, print your free bingo cards on white card stock or regular paper.
- If you want to use them year after year, laminating them is a great way to make them durable and compatible with dry-erase markers.
- If you laminate the calling cards, shuffle them, and draw them like playing cards.
How to Play New Year Picture Bingo:
If you don’t know how to play bingo, here is a quick rundown.
- Assign someone to be the Bingo Caller.
- Each player is given a Bingo Card and a set of Tokens.
- Players cover the FREE SPACE in the middle of the New Year Bingo Card.
- Decide the winning straight line(s): a horizontal line, a vertical line, two lines, or a diagonal line. Other winning combos are four corners or a full board for a Full House.
- The Bingo Caller pulls out one of the Calling Cards and calls it out to the players.
- The players then cover that picture on their bingo cards.
- The winner is the first to complete the winning line(s) and shouts BINGO!
- TIP! Hand out prizes for each winning sequence, with a grand prize for a Full House.
How To Play Virtual Bingo
- We’ve provided digital versions of our printable bingo cards so you can play online with friends and family on New Year’s Eve via services like Zoom.
- Send each player a different digital bingo card that they can save to their phone or tablet and use to play this New Year’s Eve game!
- Play the game as usual, calling out the New Year bingo images, and have players mark off their digital cards with the edit/markup feature available on most phones.
- Alternatively, they can print their own bingo cards and play the traditional way.
- Please note that the digital cards are graphic files that can be resized and printed to fit your paper size.
- Each card is available as a single sheet, so all players can receive a different card. These single files are zipped up in a ZIP file, which you can unzip using Winzip—usually found on most computers or using WinRAR.
