Mermaid Seashell Bag Craft

The full list of materials, tools, and instructions is found in the printable tutorial card at the end of this post. I highly recommend reading the blog post all the way through before starting this project to ensure that you have everything required and understand the steps and timings involved.

Do your kids love the beach and all things mermaid? Then this cute craft is for them!

This seashell bag is simple to make using our free printable template, felt fabric, and glitter glue.

Little kids will need help to make their bags, but older children should be able to manage the mermaid seashell bag craft on their own. (It makes a great sleepover activity!). The older kiddos could even add their names to the handle with glitter glue.

Once dried, the kids can fill their bag with seashells, stones, beads, or any of their favorite little thingamabobs, just like Ariel, the Little Mermaid!

The seashell bags would make a cute alternative to regular party favor bags! Make a bunch in different colors and hand them out at a Mermaid Birthday Party.
