Download, print, and cut out the Mermaid Seashell Bag pattern with scissors. Trace shell pattern once, flip it over, and trace the reverse shell image a second time on craft felt with a marker. Then trace the handle pattern once onto craft felt with a marker.
Cut out all patterns with scissors, cutting inside the traced lines, so you have a clean-finished project. The younger kiddos might need some help with the cutting.
Outline and accent the felt seashells with a coordinating color of glitter glue. Set aside to allow glitter glue to dry. Place patterns on a piece of scrap cardboard, so they are easier for the kiddos to transfer.

Apply a line of low-temp glue from a glue gun around the bottom half of one felt shell, and then attach the second felt shell on top.

To finish, glue each end of the felt handle to the inside top center of each felt shell. You can use liquid craft glue if you prefer, but you’ll have to wait a while to let it dry.

When dried, fill with trinkets!
