Day 4 of Hibiscus & Holly At The Poly 2017, the latest of my Disney Trip Reports, is here! Today we are off to Animal Kingdom for breakfast at Tusker House, and to visit the new Avatar Land – or as it is officially called: Pandora – The World of Avatar. We try some food and drink in the new land, and finish the day off with visiting Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to see their grand Christmas tree, and the huge Gingerbread House!

The Trip Report Index tells you a bit about the planning of this trip, as well as some info about me and my family (the Cast Members!) In short you have me, Michelle; Steve, my husband, and Liam, my son. It also, of course, has the full list of days for Hibiscus & Holly At The Poly 2017.

Our day started off early with a drive over to Animal Kingdom. In all the trips we’ve taken over the years, I think this is the first time we’ve ever actually had to wait in a line of cars to get through the toll gate!

As DVC Members we do not have to pay for parking at the Disney Parks, so after having our Magic Bands scanned, we drove to the parking lot and made our way to the entrance to the Park. Steve, since he is the bag holder, went through the security line, while Liam and I waited for him on the other side. I gave lots of tips for going through Disney security lines in Day 2, so I won’t go over them again. But in short – have your bag(s) open and ready to be checked.

The Animal Kingdom Christmas Tree is my favourite of all the Disney Parks. It is located just past the security line, so with everyone filtering into the park, it was a lot of hustle and bustle around it. Trying to get a decent photo of it really tried my photography patience!
