Cracker Barrel – Hwy 192, Orlando

We decided to try out Cracker Barrel on Highway 192 (W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Way) one morning for breakfast before going to switch our hire car. I just loved the old-time Americana feel of the place.
Another massive menu – just for breakfast – it was mind boggling! But eventually we all picked what to have.
I had biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon and sausage…mmmm! Not my first try of biscuits and gravy, and soooo much better than the grot at Ponderosa!
Steve had a breakfast platter with eggs, hashbrowns, grits, biscuits and sausage patties. He decided he doesn’t like grits…have to admit, they were bland.
And Liam had pancakes. He nommed them up – they were gooood he said!
The total bill was $31.36, plus tip. We enjoyed the breakfast and the portions weren’t overly huge, so if you’re looking to stuff yourself silly for the rest of the day you won’t find it here! The menu is humungous though, and it was hard to make a choice!
I loved the bric-a-brac on the walls and the general old timey America feel of the place and the general store that was attached to it.
More Halloween stuffs I wanted to buy, but didn’t…
We did plan to go back for dinner at some point… but the future tells you that we didn’t….it’s on our list for 2013!
So, breakfast eaten and car swapped we made our way to our first Disney park – Hollywood Studios!
