It’s that time of the year again! Halloween is just around the corner, and you know what that means: it’s time to whip up some spooky decorations for your house.
These long-legged pipe cleaner spiders will be a great addition to your home this creepy season, and what’s more, the craft is totally kid-friendly! With adult supervision, even the youngest of children can help to make these Halloween critters!

Materials & Tools Used in This Craft

- Black Pipe Cleaners – also known as chenille stems
- Orange Pompoms – large and small
- Googly Eyes
Cheap Craft Supplies
If you’re in the USA, check out your local Dollar Store or Dollar Tree; and if you’re in the UK, the Poundshop, The Range, Wilko, and Baker Ross are great places to shop for cheap and inexpensive craft supplies. The rest of the world reading this – I don’t know every cheap store – sorry! But hunt the ones out in your location for crafting bargains!

Long Legged Pipe Cleaner Spiders Craft for Kids
Materials
- 4 Black Pipe Cleaners Chenille Stems
- 1 Large Orange Pompom
- 1 Small Orange Pompom
- 2 Googly Eyes
TOOLS
- White School (PVA) Glue or
- Low-Temp Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
Instructions
- Line up all the pipe cleaners on a flat surface. Find the center of the pipe cleaners and twist them together. Spread the pipe cleaner legs out.

- Glue the large pompom on the center of the pipe cleaners.

- Glue the small pompom to the front of the large pompom to create the head.
- Glue the googly eyes on the front of the small pompom.

- Bend each pipe cleaner leg in the center, then create feet on the bottom by bending the end of each pipe cleaner flat.
