Great shot from a perfect angle! I have mixed emotions about the hat leaving. I’ll miss the photo ops that the hat provides but I am really looking forward to seeing the park the way it used to be. Thanks for sharing! Happy New Year!!

Who knew that this photo would be one of the last I’d ever take of the hat! I don’t know DHS without it, so it’s going to be weird that’s for sure!

Such a good angle for a hat photo. While I won’t be sad to see it go – this does make me just a bit nostalgic :)

It was one of the only ways to get it without the ugly stage in front which has been there our last two trips!

Same here – such a shame, but looking forward to the changes that are clearly coming to DHS!

Great photo! I’ll be sad to see this photo op gone, but I am very excited that there will once again be a great view of the Chinese Theater!

I’m sooo sad to see it go – we don’t know anything else other than the hat! So glad we saw it one final time last summer, it’s certainly going to feel weird without it on our next trip!

I loved the view without the hat. There was a giant hidden Mickey in the pavement outside of the Chinese Theater before the hat was put in. It was so cool. I wish they had another space they could move the hat to. It definitely make for some great photos!

It is such a shame that they couldn’t relocate it – this must be costing them a fortune too – think of all the branding that the hat was on! O_o

I know! I’m curious to see what they will do for a park icon now. I wonder if they will go back to the Earful Tower or create something new. I guess we’ll find out soon!

I’m just bummed I didn’t buy the set of icon Christmas ornaments last year – I imagine they’ll be gone by the time we go back. It’s exciting to see what will be coming though!
