Trick or Treat Decorated Tub
Home » CREATE » Crafts » Halloween Crafts »Last week I made some Trick or Treat Candy Tubes for when the kids come knocking on Halloween…well, the treats need somewhere to be stored, so I decorated a plastic tub and present to you my Trick or Treat Decorated Tub!
I started out with a plastic tub that I’ve had hanging around in the house for a while, and thought it would be an ideal storage place for the candy when the trick or treaters call!
So I gathered some crafty supplies from my stash and got to work…I printed off the words ‘trick or treat’ and then used them as a template to cut the letters out from some black vinyl, (I so wish I had a Silhouette machine, but I don’t have the funds at the moment to buy one of those!) which I then stuck onto the front of the tub.
I took my scissors to some curling ribbon and produced a mass of curls to tie to the handles, along with some black organza, which got tied up into a bow.
I attached some Halloween stickers to wire and coiled the wire to give different heights. I wrapped the wire around the handles of the tub. Then in with the candy tubes and all done!
It was a nice quick and easy project to do and I think it turned out fab! I am sure the trick or treaters are going to like picking out their sweets from my decorated tub next Wednesday evening!
Just one more week left of Crafty October…not going lie I’m going to miss doing a craft a day!
Oh, and I totally forgot to add this photo…turns out the ghost stickers I had are glow in the dark! They charged up whilst I was outside taking photos for this post, and started glowing when I went back inside :D
