Halloween is almost upon us! Are you planning a Halloween party? If so, this easy washi tape idea is a super quick and fun way to decorate your house in a hurry and create a big impact. It would be a great way to welcome trick-or-treaters too, if you positioned it on a front window.
How to: last minute washi tape Halloween decor
- Choose which washi tapes you want to use (we opted for a slim black and a standard width turquoise polka dot – both available at The Paperdashery). Different thicknesses and colours look great. You might choose a bright orange, green, purple or even white – anything that contrasts with your wall colour will work.
- Decide what you will to add to your wall. You could create a huge word, or phrase, a spider web or creepy quote…

From Macbeth – William Shakespeare - Use your washi tape to create the letters, words or creatures. The great thing about using washi tape for this project is that it won’t damage your walls, plus it can be repositioned multiple times, so you don’t need to worry about making mistakes.
