Halloween Cupcake Toppers

Welcome to Day 10 of Crafty October – a month of Halloween ideas at The Purple Pumpkin Blog! Don’t forget to check out last year’s ideas if you need more inspiration.

I’m always up for crafting things that take the minimum amount of fuss and effort, but that can create something special when used. I often use cupcake toppers to finish off cupcakes! If you don’t have time to make and decorate cupcakes, then using toppers is a quick and easy way to jazz them up. I usually make round cupcake toppers, but for a change, this year, I’ve made them square and present to you my Halloween Cupcake Toppers for 2013!

Now, I know that I haven’t skewered my toppers into cupcakes, because I didn’t have any, and nor did I have the ingredients to make them either! So instead they went into some doughtnuts that I had decorated. See an easy way to tart up baked goods too!

To make the images I’ve created into toppers for cupcakes (or something else!) just print and cut them out then tape to a cocktail stick. You could also add a backing to them – I was going to mount these on black card until I couldn’t find my black card stash -__- Now just skewer away into baked goods!
