You may remember my blog post for Snowman Soup here is how I packaged it up.

I had LOTS of mini marshmallows leftover from when I initially made the jars of Snowman Soup, so decided, since adding marshmallows to hot chocolate is AWESOME, that I would bag more of them up to go with the jars of soup.

I also knew that I wanted to have a little card with a poem/instructions to go with…I’m not that great at writing poetry though. So I went to Google and after a quick search, saw that many people were using the same/similar poems. I found one that I liked and copied it…but I put it on my own template using Paintshop Pro X2 (PSPX2) and printed them off.

Here is my poem that I placed in with each jar of Snowman Soup, which you are free to use if you don’t want to create your own. Who know’s who the original creator of this poem is, but if you’re out there reading this – thank you!

I bought some white paper bags a long time ago which I found whilst de-cluttering my craft stash, so I used them to place a jar of Snowman Soup, the extra snowballs (marshmallows) and the poem.

I then made a label to go on the outside of the bags, again with PSPX2, printed them off, cut them out and punched a hole to tie them to the bags. Here is the label that you are also free to use :)

And here is the finished article…I tied the labels to the bags with some silver Christmas ribbon I had, on some (no photos unfortunately) I used tiny clothes pegs to pin them to the bag (I ran out of ribbon!) I also scrunched up some Christmassy tissue paper that I bought and placed that on top to hide the goodies below!

The Snowman Soup went down a storm with all the people that I gave to as gifts! Everyone remarked what a fun and different gift it was and when it was eventually made, how yummy it was – especially with all the marshmallows! It is a sweet sticky concoction, and best had in small doses! My sister even texted me a picture of her cup of Snowman Soup!
