Festive Table Centerpiece

Day 6 – Cook, Craft, Create: December 2012

For day 6 of Cook, Craft, Create: December: 2012 I’ve created a Festive Table Centerpiece that I plan to use over the Christmas season.

I put together my table centerpiece using some rustic decorations that I bought last Christmas – cinnamon stick bundles, brown paper packages (tied up with raffia ;)), pine cones and berries, and arranged them around a red pillar candle.

Everything went into the same ceramic tray that I used to make my Candy Corn Candle Display at Halloween, what a great gift that was!

I really do love how this turned out! You could use items you find in your garden, or when walking out in the woods – pine cones, acorns, twigs, ferns etc. It would create a lovely natural display…I’ve got a fern tree at the bottom of my garden, I may have to go and cut a few branches down and do something with them!

Why not give this a go? It took me all of about 5 minutes to put everything together!
