Candy Corn & Candle Display
Home » HOLIDAYS » HALLOWEEN »Today has been rather eventful…my brother popped in to see me after his trip to Florida and brought us all back some goodies! One of my pressies was a bag of candy corn, which I can’t buy here in the UK, so I was very pleased with that gift! He stopped by for a few hours telling me all about his holiday.
Then, when my son came home from school, he informed me that he had an accident during his PE lesson and hurt his finger. Concerned that he might have broken it, I whisked him off to the local poly clinic. After a two hour stint in there, with an x-ray to check his bones, thankfully it was nothing more than a severe sprain, so we were able to come home.
So, owing to this busy day, there is a distinct lack of crafting from me – as you can imagine! Instead, I put the candy corn my brother gave me to decorative use, along with some candles, and made this cool display for the home…
A few photos in the daylight…kinda wish I had more candy corn to fill it up!
I love the way this simple idea turned out, and whilst it’s not overly crafty, it’s going to have to be today’s craft! I really would like to try and get a craft done a day throughout October, and don’t like to let my readers down. I’ve got so many ideas in the pipeline and a box of crafty goodies to use, I look forward to sharing them with you!
