Anna & Elsa Plus Size DisneyBound

I wrote all about what DisneyBounding here, but in short it is styling regular clothing and accessories using inspiration from your favourite Disney characters. Since I’m plus-size, my DisneyBound outifts use items from plus-size stores, and are all things I would feel comfortable wearing.

My theme park “uniform” always consists of cropped leggings, comfortable shoes (for me, it is Olivia or Jayna style Crocs) and a sleeveless, floaty top so that I can stay cool in the Florida heat. Sometimes, restaurants can get very chilly with air-conditioning, so I’ll add a light layer for a bit of warmth! A great way to jazz up any DisneyBound outfit is with accessories.

Usually, I put together two outfits for one character – one to wear during the day at a Disney theme park, and another for an evening out or party. This week, it’s a bit different as I’ve created a theme park look for two girls that go together – Anna and Elsa, from Frozen.

Anna – Plus Size DisneyBound – Theme Park Outfit

I’ve picked dark blue leggings and a black top in place of the dress that Anna wears in the film. I desperately tried to find a top with a flower motif, since the bodice of her dress has some embelishment, but couldn’t find anything suitable, so instead, I’ve added a turquoise necklace. Since it is way too hot in Florida to wear long sleeves, I left out the long sleeved part of her outfit, but it’s picked up in the colour of the necklace. The pink cardigan is for the cloak, and the heart earrings represent true love!

Elsa – Plus Size DisneyBound – Theme Park Outfit

Elsa was easier to do – sticking to cool blues and turquoise colours, in both the top and the cardigan. I’ve added a very pretty necklace in the same colour pallete, and not forgetting the purple eyeshadow and pink lipstick that Elsa wears!
